From the Coder himself :iconzoeticwraith:

"HELLO everyone!!!! The time for details on the upcoming server to go public is finally here! After loads of planning, drafting and work we are nearing final stages of a working product for YOU, our members, to enjoy! Please read below for the new basics of the lore so you can figure out how to fit you're OC's in and where!

Disclaimer: Our listed races are final, if you're race isn't listed it isn't available to Role Play PERIOD! **
Suggestions for additional races is welcomed but may take time to code and balance! ( yes Code! )

Each race must be selected prior from a in game interactive menu and comes with pre-coded perks advantages and disadvantages, also any race and eventual class ( when coded ) will be subject to buffs and de-buffs when WE see fit for balance and fun based reasons! Listed perks and de-buffs are REAL and coded!

Now then lets explain some lore and available races with that out of the way!

The world will be full of 5 Kingdoms. ( Names not final for some so check back soon in case of updated name )

Fallen Kingdom : Eldest of all kingdoms, this land was once co-ruled by a peaceful race of Dwarven kin and Damien himself. This land once held a Golden age in rustic technology that blurred the line between Science and Magic. Now it lays in waste and ruin as Netherians, Enderfolk and all forms of darkness from other races run rampit throughout the mighty stone hallways.

Shifting Sands: This old Egyptian styled kingdom is corrupt but full of freedom, Anthro's call this land home where they may be free of the other Kingdom's racism (only for anything that isn't human, WE WILL NOT ACCEPT REAL WORLD RACISM) against them and their ways. Enderfolk are regulars here as well though not their homeland. The Sins rule out here and it has become home to the Rats Den, a place where even the Black Market of other lands would stray away from.

Snowviel: This kingdom lies right within the Aetherial Kingdom, and the Shifting Sands. It finds itself across the river of the desert and high up on the peaks of mountains with its eastern extreme being a temperate peninsula ripe with industry and trade. Halflings and Humans call this place home above all else and it is a fair and accepting land even though its Netheral Temple may hold a long gone, yet dark secret

Aetherial Kingdom (Aether): This magnificent land on the water could only be rivaled by the stories of Atlantis itself, many desire to live on its outer ring to be considered closer to the inner ring where the council of the Father himself lies. Elves and Aetherians claim this as their homeland and do not accept anyone outside of their race being in the inner circle without permission.

Everdark:  The Kingdom of the East has fallen to the hands of Gaius as a new plain of existence bleeds into its lands, racism is prevalent yet strangely acceptance to magic users is better here. Corrupted call this land home as well do Barbarians ( WIP name ) which leaves to be said a land of fighting not peace even though it holds a lovely city as its capital.

Now lets list the different races available!! Health, Mana and perks etc will be listed.

Human</i>: 20 HP , 20 Mana
Once at 6 health they go into Last Stand restoring 4 health instantly and has a 30 second cool down.
Increased Swimming and Mining speed by 1, increased arrow damage by 1, and can taunt mobs into wanting to attack them.
Humans can also poison their weapons by crafting them with 5 Ink Sacks. ( 30% chance to poison enemy, a poisoned weapon remains so for good )
What a Human is, I am sure is obvious no need to explain. Which means a Human OC is just that Human. Diverse range of beliefs and attitudes.

Halfling</i>: 16 HP , 24 Mana
Halflings are sorta like Hobbits, NOT a half-breed! For the most part think of a short human, averaging 3.5 feet to 4 feet tall with 4.5 feet tall maximums. OC's of this kind are human like in appearance but small, PERIOD!
Though they appear as small Humans their beliefs are nigh the same, though some halflings live out their days in remote agricultural communities, others form nomadic bands that travel constantly, lured by the open road and the wide horizon to discover the wonders of new lands and peoples. But even these wanderers love peace, food, hearth, and home, though home might be a wagon jostling along an old dirt road. Halflings usually set out on the adventurer’s path to defend their communities, support their friends, or explore a wide and wonder-filled world. For them, adventuring is less a career than an opportunity or sometimes a necessity.

Halflings enjoy several major buffs into their hands. ALL mobs only have a 3 block range to notice you! As well a 30% chance to dodge attacks automatically, and permanent Luck Potion effect to boot. Halflings also enjoy sprints boosts ( in bursts only ) but have a minor speed debuff. They also have an additional hidden buff!

Nord</i>: 40 HP , 4 Mana
Barbarians are named as such to avoid calling them Orcs and to avoid them having green skin which we fear may not be a popular option for you guys. Key features they are large and tall averaging 6.5 feet to 8 feet tall! Under bite and large muscular mass but very poor magical abilities with an otherwise human like appearance. They are the least intelligent of all races, but have strength mortals seemingly shouldn't be allowed to wield at the same time. Though primordial and a belief of proving oneself and fighting till death and beyond. They hold loyalty well beyond any other race, once you have their loyalty it would be hard to lose it

They to can taunt mobs into a battle but from large distances, and have the berserk power increasing damage with everything by 10% when low on health. They also have a passive 10% buff to all damage which does stack with their berserk rage as well as a additional +1 to axes and swords at the cost of any ability to use a Bow.
Additionally ALL mobs have +3 range to notice you.

Anthro</i>: 20 HP , 30 Mana
These sand dwellers include any Anthropomorphic common animals ( Ex: Wolf or Cat ) or a mixture of said common animal and human ( Ex: Neko ) but mythical or unreal animals are not allowed. Additionally a "Hybrid" can ONLY be one animal of choice and human such as a Neko.
Their defining features range and are varried in accordance to the animal or animal human mix they are for their appearance and are well defined by their pride and sense of freedom. Their homeland is viewed as corrupt and can at times bring MUCH racism!

Wolfs and Creepers have only a range of 1! But Anthros can NOT tame nor leesh Horses! Though they can still ride a horse. Anthros have a speed and power buff by 1, but have a replenish and arrow damage de-buff by 1 as well. ( Apple feeds 3 Hunger instead of 4 as an example )

Fletchling</i>: 16 HP , 24 Mana  ( at risk of hefty rebalance or possible removal due to difficulty in balancing out )
These shadow dwellers seem hardly like others, sometimes viewed evil but are they? They hold close to their hearts a cult like religion and a intolerance to water. Calling the Fallen Kingdom home and enjoying the Shifting Sands kingdom to avoid the rain as well. They have the ability to teleport and hide their large masses of body within the shadows is taken seriously among-st other nations. Averaging 8 feet plus and with their ashy or obsidian toned skin and solid colour eyes that have a faint glow (however their eyes can never be white) can leave some highly intimidated, this young and fledgling race has much hardship to surely endure. They are often mistaken for being the Endermen.

Teleport for 1 Mana to place within sight and has a 10% Mana regen buff over other races. They have plus 1 jumping but drown 10% faster and have 8 seconds less breath under water.

Netherian</i>: 30 HP , 30 Mana
This nearly lost race is dying off slowly but still clings to their by gone days with great pride. Once defeated by the Aetherians and now their home world decimated they call the Fallen Kingdom home.
Their numbers dwindle ever so slowly as their near immortal lives steadily fade away, some are still evil like they were so many moons ago during the great war but the younger ones of their kind have begun to search for new meanings and hopes to save their own species from the brink of extinction.
Most races hate them for what they once were and rather them dead, but many still fear them all the same. Averaging 7 - 8 feet tall and with Dark Elf styled bodies hair and eyes they muster on hoping they may garner a second chance at existence.

Health regens 15% faster while Mana regens 10% slower, they have a 50% resistance to Lava and fire as well. All Nether Mobs only have 1 block radius to attack and they take -20% damage when on 30% health or less. They can only wear Leather and Gold armor and have custom Golden armor only they can wear with Thorns 5 on it! They sadly have +3 range with over world Mobs. They Drown 5% slower, +13% Axe damage..

Daemon</i>: 45 HP , 35 Mana   PREMIUM RACE!</u>
Think of Demons simply put, ruled y CreeperGriefers Devil and the Sins like to "call" the Shifting Sands as their home within MineCraft.
These beings have begun to spread into Minecraftia in the Netherians absence from power

Health regens 25% faster, they have a 90% resistance to Lava and fire as well. They can activate a Fly Trait for 5 Mana that lasts 30 seconds and they take -20% damage when on 30% health or less. They can only wear Leather and ChainMail armor and have custom ChainMail armor only they can wear with Thorns 5 on it! They Drown 20% slower. +13% Axe damage.

Elf</i>: 30 HP , 30 Mana
These beings are tall averaging around 7 feet tall and are very attractive with their ivory complexions and flowing Blonde or White hair. Their eyes are crystalline blue or emerald green and they adorn themselves in largely white clothing trying to bridge the gap otherwise there between them and a Aetherian. They are immortal beings only worrying of being slain in battle to die. Though through their pride this is hardly a worry either. They look down on Daemons and Netherians with extreme prejudice and dismay and are happy to call the Aetherial Kingdom home. They are cold blooded to a near extreme with average internal temperatures being around 34 F.

Mana regens 10% faster, they have a 10% jump boost as well as a 10% Dodge chance. Add to this their +1 to arrow damage and cold feet ability to freeze water for only 1 mana and they are a diverse people. They Drown 5% slower, and have a range of 1 to Wolves, Creepers, Spiders, Enderman and Slimes. +15% Hoe Damage.

Aetherian</i>: 35 HP , 45 Mana   PREMIUM RACE!</u>
Think of angels simply put, damienvox rules this race with the Father. Aetherians can be massive reaching heights nearing 9 feet with ease, their ivory near glowing skin and gemstone like eyes can captivate and even allure some. They hold great pride in winning the great war over the Netherians long ago and stand guard to Minecraftia though signs of Bureaucracy have prevailed in recent times. Adorned in gleaming platinum armor, or in high technology they are regarded highly for their advvanced tech, and strong magic. Their icy blood can reach negative temperatures.

Mana regens 25% faster, they have a 20% jump boost as well as a 20% Dodge chance. Add to this their +2 to arrow damage and cold feet ability to freeze water no mana cost. They Drown 20% slower, and have teleport arrow only THEY can fire that acts as though an Enderpearl without the harm to health. They can activate a Fly Trait for 5 Mana that lasts 30 seconds. +15% Hoe Damage.

Everblood</i>: 45 HP , 20 Mana   PREMIUM RACE</u> ( some may grand father into this being for free )
This race is new and growing, as Gaius finds those he sees fit to join him in the Ever Dark kingdom. The race doesn't always share his views of spreading their corruption but either way this instinct to spread grows strong. The race gains great durability through their Tar Blood but can't resist the cold very well. Composed by retractable claws and fangs and sometimes tar stained tear streaks, they retain human like features elsewhere.

Plus 2 strength, fire and lava resistance of 50% and get 1 health for every 3 Dmg they cause. They take 5% less damage when on 30% health or less, -4 seconds of breath underwater and -1 to replenish ( meaning an apple feeds 3 hunger instead of 4 for example ).

Necro</i>: 65 HP , 4 Mana   PREMIUM RACE ( experimental and may be heavily re-balanced )
Race of the highest unholy degree, they have no soul or core but only a hallow remains. Death comes hard if at all but suffering is great and feeding their hunger grows difficult as well as suffering memory loss. This race as well suffers great hardship, few in number and easily confused with Zombie mobs. Additional their blood lust can prove impossible to resist.

Strength +8, and +13% Shovel damage. Can't wear armor nor weild a diamond sword but gets 1 health per 2 Dmg dealt back. As well takes -20% dmg when on 30% health and drowns 20% slower. Has 45 seconds additional breath and undead mobs have range of 1 but Wolves have +5 range.
-2 replenish. ( Apples feed only 2 hunger now and Potatoes if uncooked feed nothing! )

**Additionally, yes building you're own places outside of the core map will be allowed, but with 0 grief PROTECTION!**
Dungeons to traverse and loot are planned!

Last but not least.

There is 3 soul types.

Soul: Normal with no buffs or de-bufffs. Can pass on.

Core: Can allow a OC to have good regen ( in RP only ). Can not pass on to an after life unless a Diety helps.

Hollow: Shreds of whats left of a soul and can not pass on what so ever. No known way to destroy and ALWAYS brings a great strength and a horrible curse."

This is so cool!!!! I do have a question: will you be expanding more about this 'passing on' aspect of the server in the future? Does this mean that if an OC dies, they are supposedly physically dead forever?
